It's a blast. I'm terrified of heights, so in addition to the physical challenge (which is substantial....I had no idea how difficult this was going to be), the mental component is pretty heady as well.
Hmmm, I might give it a go . . . .
I tried it when I was a kid, on the easiest part of the rock wall, and found I couldn't get half-way up. You have to be in some condition. You'd think, "Hey, there's plenty of stuff to grab on," but continually pulling your body up takes a lot of strength and endurance.

For gods sakes people...climb outdoors.
(Actually, indoor bouldering is good fun...good training. But really...if you do too much plastic, then it's all you can do...people wonder why the rock isn't covered with all those handy little route markers. )
Edit: (There's one of my back yard. Well...almost... Link )
did you miss that event? I think I posted a picture of him in gen discussion a while back. It was a sad day for mummys (well, this mummy anyway)... I nearly cried. But he wanted to look like his daddy....

Yeah, I took a break a while ago. Man. He looks way different. IK remember cutting my hair for the first time. Only it was opposite for me. I wanted to keep it, and my Mom demanded a buzzcut.
I haven't liked buzzcuts since.

Finally got around to adding a couple of pictures in the member album again.
