Sweetbread is in the Land

Post by sweetbread »

Hey all!! Great to be here. I'm glad to have found this lil niche in the Arch of the Internet.

Looks like the place is full of great people here. And the topics are even better!

BTW, I JUST finished Fatal Revenant two days ago, and I'm about to go postal at Barnes and Noble if they don't hurry up and get "Against All Things Ending"....

...but then I'll have to wait for The Last Dark anyways....

Plus, am I correct in the assumption that 'Against All Things Ending' isn't being released until 2010, with 'The Last Dark' coming out in 2013??? Hellfire, I'll be as old as the Mahdoubt by the time those come out....

Welcome, SB!

I gotta say, when I saw the title of this thread, I was thinking it was in the Galley forum. I am much relieved. :)

Yup, pretty much.

Welcome and all that! Please take off your shoes while you are here- we just had the hardwood floors refinished.

Hehehe! Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! I feel like ya'll are a real friendly bunch, which is rather uncommon among the internet these days ....

.... either that, or I just stumbled into Castle Anthrax.....

Don't worry, there's still plenty of opportunity for you to become jaded and cynical. Give it a week. In the meantime, have fun!

Well, I've already tried on a couple of occasions to warn new members of their peril, but for some inexplicable reason they haven't listened. Apparently, they seem to think people discuss the works of Stephen Donaldson here.

Oh. I guess we do.

Hello everyone,

Rivina Heartwood of Westfall here. First SRD forums I've ever stumbled on and you guys seem nice.

I'll mostly be hanging around the Mordant's Need section, but I'll pop around the other places from time to time.

Welcome to the Watch, Rivina.

AFAIK we're the only SRD forum. Which makes us number one! :)

Be Welcome to the Watch, Rivina. Be Well Come and True.

Be sure to check out the non-SRD forums as well, once you're comfortable here. Do you like to cook? ;)

Welcom Rivina and Sweatbread. If you're into a spot of political or philosophical debate with people of above average (internet) IQ, and a lot better manners, be sure to drop by Hile Troys think tank or The Close respectively.

You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.
