Fence straddlers should not be pointing people in the (misguided) direction of THOOLAH. IMHO.

Hi all
Howdy everyone,
Someone mentioned I should introduce myself so here it goes. Just recently finished FR, and I scoured the web to find out when the next book was coming, and it just so happened that I've stumbled across this website where lo and behold there are others like me who are enamored with this storyline. Who'd a thunk it? And I thought I belonged to an exclusive club that had a newfound fondness of lepers...
Anyway, I'm a long time fan having first read the original Chronicles during my latter teens back in the eighties. Since then I've read each trilogy about 4-5 times so like the rest of you I was quite happy and surprised to learn that SRD was giving us one more trip to the Land. However, I was quite unhappy to learn the third book was en route in 2010 and the final in 2013. /sigh. I've never been a subscriber in "all good things to those who wait." If there were a Despiser waiting for me in some mythical Land, my impatience would be his greatest tool.
Hope this is somewhat of a good start. Give me a shout out, send a PM, flame my ideas, etc. Here's to hoping your personal Haruchai lives up to their name.

Greetings and welcome to the forum, Damack! I am a fellow newbie here and I must say that your background is quite like my own. Similarly, patience and I are not the best of friends, LOL. I would have thought that this characteristic of mine would have improved with age, but then again I still have all three kids at home so there still may be hope...

A friend of mine once told me "the one thing you learn when you have kids is having patience for other people's kids." I'm expecting our first baby anytime (wife is actually two weeks late as we speak). But if you're telling me you have three kids and have yet to find that elusive mastering of patience, oh boy am I in trouble... heheAndy Kalish wrote:Greetings and welcome to the forum, Damack!
