Thanks for all the welcomes. I'll definitely look at the "Tank" (whatever that is) the Close, and Hall of Gifts. Believe it or not, I'm still reading Fatal Revenant (it was a busy spring).

The scene with Linden under Skyweir blew me away; it was like the best stuff he's ever written.
Maybe I'll finish the book before I post anything more in the Board. Can tell you I'm already a bit worried about the lines concerning the paradox of good coming from evil means -- something that Donaldson always previously seemed to reject. Philosophers call the ban on doing evil that good may come of it "the Pauline Principle."

*just to clarify, Balon means nothing against you, Morning. although I could see him saying they eclipse the Morning being misconstrued*

But as you can see, Sunrise is the way to go for the Morning. :)
