Oh yeah, moving my birthday. I'd probably pick a day in the fall. Fall is my favorite season, and my birth date is a little too close to Christmas.

New pens and notebooks and new books! And usually the majority of the teachers don't start assigning you work yet. At least the nice ones.

What would be the hardest food to give up if you had to?

My knee-jerk reaction is chocolate. But I have a friend who believes she is allergic to wheat, and that is just a major pain in the butt because wheat is in *so* many things. And non-wheat-based flour makes *really* nasty bread. So maybe giving up wheat would be worse.

Do you still have your textbooks or did you sell them all back?

I couldn't sell them all back because they decided to use the next editions of some of them. I haven't had time to sell them elsewhere yet. But then, I'm still a student.

Food that you would never eat in a million years, even if somebody paid you?

Oysters....they look so slimy and eee-yuk. There's not much food that I am finicky about except seafood. I like some, but am hesitant to try new seafood.

Has there been a book that changed your life? What is it and how did it affect you like that?

There has been a few. Yes, Covenant was a big one in my formative years (Jr. High), and kinda helped shape who I am as a person. And no, I'm not a leper living in a fantasy world that I don't believe in. But it taught some coping skills, and helped my brain along. I found it especially profound amongst the action and adventure. But I blame Donaldson for my depression.

The non-fiction of Robert Anton Wilson (like Cosmic Trigger) I must say had a profound affect on my desire to learn, and developed a real appreciation of history and how it can be more interesting than just memorizing dates. Also sparked some politics in me, and some interest in mind expansion. But mainly, reading him made a lot of boring stuff suddenly interesting for me. I also blame him for making me a bit wishy-washy.

As soon as I have a job, my answer will be yes. I'm going for one of the least-paying careers, teaching. The clinicals I've been doing have been amazing and very rewarding.

Jeez, *only* $100? My rich Uncle Dubya sends me bigger checks than that....

I think I'd put it toward a 22" flat-screen monitor, so I can sit on the sofa and watch movies on my computer. Or $100 would buy 1/3 of a Sony E-Reader. One of the two.

When you find yourself wide awake ten minutes before the alarm is set to go off, do you get up, or roll over and go back to sleep?

I go back to sleep. But then, I hit the snooze button for about an hour before getting up most mornings anyway, and my snooze is set for five minutes.

Dogs. Dunno why, but they really freak me. If I take enough time to get to know a specific dog, then it can tone down some, but random encounters always puts me on an edge.
