That's half as much time as I spend there! (Except now I might be slightly addicted to an application I found on Ki's page. Darn it, Ki! I don't need more addictions!)magickmaker17 wrote:I second that sentiment.aliantha wrote:NOOOOO!!!!!11!!1
However I tend to agree that its not that big of a time waster. I spend about 5 minutes every two weeks on there.

I found this forum while searching for "Thomas Covenant" on Facebook. Not the person, obviously.
I joined the group, then I joined the forum.

I have succumbed. Woe is me.Cagliostro wrote:Reading these comments, I'm glad I'm not on Facebook. I barely even play with My Space anymore.
But I still won't play World of Warcraft.
I won't, I tell you.
Let's see how long before I eat these words too.

Facebook has its uses. Plus on occasion it gets you into contact with people you may have lost touch with over the years, which can be good at times!
Cag - are you trying to hint that we should all make it our goal to get you on WoW?

By the Black Rabbit of Inle, no, please, don't get me playing WoW. I have a baby to have in a few month and gearing up for that and then the big celebration after to celebrate the wedding and baby...whew...I just won't have time. Already the Wii games I have as well as Rock Band 2 is eating all my free time. I don't need a new addiction right now, unless it is exercise related. But thanks for the offer to corrupt me!Chrysalis wrote:Facebook has its uses. Re: facebook
Is this still the case, Syl? Because if so, you live about 20 mins from me....however if you are the officer this is no longer the case...Syl wrote:So I checked facebook out a month or so ago. Didn't see anything that really grabbed my attention. Well, I got an email notification for a friend request from a guy I went to high school with. Having no friends is understandable, but one seems kind of pathetic. So, I created the Kevin's Watch group. Feel free to join and hit me up (I'm also the only person who comes up on search for "Stephen R. Donaldson").

Probably not me, rdh. I'm nowhere close to San Luis Obispo at the moment. I'm listed as the creator of the KW group.
"It is not the literal past that rules us, save, possibly, in a biological sense. It is images of the past. Each new historical era mirrors itself in the picture and active mythology of its past or of a past borrowed from other cultures. It tests its sense of identity, of regress or new achievement against that past.”
