I second that sentiment.
However I tend to agree that its not that big of a time waster. I spend about 5 minutes every two weeks on there.
That's half as much time as I spend there! (Except now I might be slightly addicted to an application I found on Ki's page. Darn it, Ki! I don't need more addictions!)

I usually log onto facebook when I'm bored. Which is a lot, usually. I vastly prefer it to MySpace.

I found this forum while searching for "Thomas Covenant" on Facebook. Not the person, obviously.

I joined the group, then I joined the forum. :D

I have succumbed. Woe is me.

But I still won't play World of Warcraft.

I won't, I tell you.

I spend far less time on Facebook then I spent on internet forums.

Facebook has its uses. Plus on occasion it gets you into contact with people you may have lost touch with over the years, which can be good at times!

Cag - are you trying to hint that we should all make it our goal to get you on WoW? :P

By the Black Rabbit of Inle, no, please, don't get me playing WoW. I have a baby to have in a few month and gearing up for that and then the big celebration after to celebrate the wedding and baby...whew...I just won't have time. Already the Wii games I have as well as Rock Band 2 is eating all my free time. I don't need a new addiction right now, unless it is exercise related. But thanks for the offer to corrupt me! :P

Syl wrote:So I checked facebook out a month or so ago. Didn't see anything that really grabbed my attention. Well, I got an email notification for a friend request from a guy I went to high school with. Having no friends is understandable, but one seems kind of pathetic. So, I created the Kevin's Watch group. Feel free to join and hit me up (I'm also the only person who comes up on search for "Stephen R. Donaldson").
Is this still the case, Syl? Because if so, you live about 20 mins from me....however if you are the officer this is no longer the case...

Probably not me, rdh. I'm nowhere close to San Luis Obispo at the moment. I'm listed as the creator of the KW group.
