i'm not sure if I can post images of my work here, but you can see them at www.myspace.com/hanessculpture. Believe it or not pantyhose is a viable medium. I've seen some interesting stuff in hose. I only use a wheel if I need certain shapes. As for politics; why vote for another old white guy?

(Amon Ereb is a isolated mountain in East Beleriand, mentioned in the Silmarillion, and which in Sindarin means 'lonely hill'.)

Hail and welcome amonereb. :D
You do not hear, and so you cannot be redeemed.

In the name of their ancient pride and humiliation, they had made commitments with no possible outcome except bereavement.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

Thanks for all the welcomes, and Well Comes. Now, which one of you summoned me then!

Well spotted with my name Wayfriend, and hope the use of a Tolkienesque moniker isn't playing havok with the laws of time (or PHP). It's just been my online name forever.

Not alone at all though, have a small family to tend to. However, considering that TC has been in my mind for over 18 years, I already have a feeling I'll know/understand a lot of you here better than I do the current Mrs. Amonereb and our son :D

I don't think it will be a problem. You're not the only one here with a Tolkienesque name, ya know. ;)

The Harper Hall Trilogy as well as appearances in the main series, The Dragonriders of Pern, both by Anne McCaffrey.

Well that explains why I didn't know. I have yet to read any McCaffrey.
