(kills me say that)
Tebow and company will assure you don't have to betray your Cowboys by bringing the Title back to Gator Town for the second time in three years.

hey, all. I've actually been posting for a month or so, but I'm a spew-what-you-want-when-you-want guy. Found the watch, didn't plan to join, but saw something I wanted to respond to, joined without putting anything extra in profile (even kept my own name..I was in a HURRY dammit)..so now I'm saying hello, just to be belatedly sociable...someday I'll add an avatar, and maybe change my name so I can beat myself up in the forums...this is my first post with a tag, so I'm all good.

the difference between evidence and sources: whether they come from the horse's mouth or a horse's ass.
"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."
the hyperbole is a beauty...for we are then allowed to say a little more than the truth...and language is more efficient when it goes beyond reality than when it stops short of it.

Hail!
I wish I had known about this forum years ago! I am a huge Donaldson fan, and got drawn into the Chronicles years ago! At least once a year I go back and read both series over again, and it never fails to capture my imagination.
Nice to meet some like minded fellows, and hopefully we will have a chance to talk more about this incredible series.
Some basics, though, before I sign off:
Character I least liked: Hile Troy (He was arrogant and needed a smack in the face, in my humble opinion, disabled or not!)
Character I felt most sorry for: Cable Seadreamer. Every time The Search nears the Island of The One Tree, I get sad
Favorite place in all The Land: Revelwood
Happy new year, everyone and I hope I can contribute some to the 2009 debate on The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant!!

It boots nothing to avoid his snares, for they are ever beset with other snares, and life and death are too intimately intergrown to be severed from each other.
