howdy......a little about myself.....I am from Oklahoma.......have read both 1st and 2nd Chronicles on several occasions.....always love them......currently reading Fatal Revenant.....almost done....think I will go read a while.

I am certain I will watch the Orange Bowl Menolly....however I am a Ok State fan....we be playing in the Holiday Bowl...Go Cowboys!...BUT....I cant root against the Sooners....not when there is a chance to bring the Title to the Great State of Oklahoma!!!!

(kills me say that)

hey, all. I've actually been posting for a month or so, but I'm a spew-what-you-want-when-you-want guy. I wish I had known about this forum years ago! I am a huge Donaldson fan, and got drawn into the Chronicles years ago! At least once a year I go back and read both series over again, and it never fails to capture my imagination.

Nice to meet some like minded fellows, and hopefully we will have a chance to talk more about this incredible series.

Some basics, though, before I sign off:

Character I least liked: Hile Troy (He was arrogant and needed a smack in the face, in my humble opinion, disabled or not!)

Character I felt most sorry for: Cable Seadreamer. Every time The Search nears the Island of The One Tree, I get sad

Favorite place in all The Land: Revelwood

Happy new year, everyone and I hope I can contribute some to the 2009 debate on The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant!!
