I feel okay. . . I am broke as can be, but I've made some progress in conquering some of my painful past experiences. It's a bit scary, but exhilarating to hatch forth a new facet of me--one that isn't controlled by old ways of thinking. So yeah. . . :D

Good for you, Lyr!

I fully intended to clean the house today, or maybe go on a hike or something. Instead, I spent the whole day knitting a baby blanket for my niece. The good news, tho, is the baby blanket is finished, whoo hoo! Now I can move on to knitting something for myself! (And it's a good thing the blanket is done because I got an invitation in the mail yesterday to a baby shower for her that's next month. Dunno if I'll go -- it's in Chicago -- but at least now I'm ready.)

Feel good. Met Creator for an after work drink down in Chicago tonight. Talked WoW (funny that) and Pantheon.

I know.

Saturday draws nearer by the day. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to get through it. :(

Was it really that long ago? Sometimes it feels like yesterday. Other days a lifetime. And on the days when I'm really blue, I wonder if it happened at all.

I'm good. :) I'm gonna punch a hole in my face this weekend, I think. Ugly myself up a bit, as a friend puts it. I'm stoked!

Nearly got hit by two tornados on Monday, but they missed. Must really be summer now. :)

I'm a little sad. I was going to be heading over to the US for three months in late July, but those plans have now fallen through. :(

I wanted to go to Colonial Williamsburg.

He knew only that they had never striven to reject the boundaries of themselves.

sorry your plans got cancelled.........

Williamsburg in August is one sweaty place. Maybe you can reschedule for early October and catch the fall colors.

Septum.

Av- So, curious as to what "cold" is, I looked up a weather website thing for SA. I saw, much to my amazement, that right now it is INDEED pretty cold, with temperatures around 15* for a lot of the area. But then I thought to myself... wait, that's not right. It'd be snowing. Hmm... Oh! Celsius! I don't really even know what 20* Celsius IS. So got another handy little website to do a conversion for me. Turns out that 15*C is 59*F. Now, there would have been a point in time, maybe about six months ago, when I would have laughed at the idea that 59* is cold.
But now I understand. And I sympathize. And if I could send my weather to you in a box, I would. :(

Edit- I just realized that you're exactly 12 hours ahead of me, Av. That's kinda cool.

Edit2- The obvious solution is to come take a winter vacation in Hawaii. Bring the lady. We'll climb waterfalls.

59* is not cold at all, it's the usual summer temperature here. :)

Taken out of context, that could mean something entirely different. ^_^

:LOLS: Yes, I'm used to you thick-blooded northern hemisphere dwellers mocking my frozen shivers...

Still, those were daytime high's you were looking at...todays was 13°C (55.4°F). Right now though, it's around 5°C (41°F) and it's cold. :D

Hahaha, yes it is. It means I'm sitting here freezing while you're enjoying some mid-morning sunshine.

Now that sounds like a plan. And we're unemployed, so we've got free time.

(So when are you sending tickets? ;) )

$1,800 USD on Expedia, Av. Start selling your body for money and I'll do the same. Between the two of us, we'll have you here in no time. I even know the cheapest Hotel in Waikiki. Boy, could I tell you stories about that place.... ooooh, boy.
