Welcome, Vanja, I know how you feel about the lack of other Donaldson fans at your school... it's been a curse that's followed me as well.

Hi, Relativly new to KW but a fan of the books since I was recomended to them in 2000.
Vanja the Gravelingas, sorry to here that you were alone at school with the wonder of the land. At least they were not activly hostile to the idea like my classmates (not looking to play on-up, just stating fact.)
Anyway, any one else feel thet 2010 and AATE cann't come fast enough?

If we all follow Berek's code of warriors then the world would be full of the worst warriors imaginable.

I only know Lawhead's Pendragon Cycle, but the first book in the cycle, Taliesin grabbed me right away. I loved Lawhead's depiction of the bard's tale.Taliesin wrote:I am a big fan of Celtic mythology. The simple fact that the name Taliesin was recognized has been an excellent welcome! I feel that this is a good place.
The Pendragon Cycle is actually what got me into fantasy literature in the first place back when I was 12, and although I didn't understand a lot of it at the time, I really loved the style it was written in.

Come to Cj's Lawhead thread down in Gen Lit. It's not very active, but those of us who enjoyed the series would welcome a fresh outlook in the discussions there.Taliesin wrote:The Pendragon Cycle is actually what got me into fantasy literature in the first place back when I was 12, and although I didn't understand a lot of it at the time, I really loved the style it was written in.
