Hail!

Post by krillarbran »

Hi all. Uh my name is Dave AKA Krillarbran. I am 23 years old and have loved the first two Thomas Covenant Chronicles since I was 13. I am planning to read the two new books shortly as I am currently rereading the originals.

I was a bit gutted this morning as I bought a copy of The Runes Of The Earth off Ebay, it arrived and I found the book to be in a bit of a state :-( that wasn't in the listing..... I decided that I bought it cheap anyway and I will keep it as a reading copy.

Nice to meet you all.

Hi Krillarbran!
Welcome! But be careful - if you get too engrossed here, you'll never get the Chronicles finished!
Worth having a look in any cheapo book outlets if there are any near you - I've spotted h/b RotE for £3, new.

:D The clue was in the '£'!

You know those shops that are sort of warehouse-clearance ones? Tend to open for a month then close when everything decent has been sold? Keep your eyes peeled!

If you haven't already checked it out, you may wish to read the 1st Chronicles dissections in the Dissecting the Land forum. Even upon reread, sometimes other points of view is enlightening.

And new input in the dissection threads is always welcome. :)

Welcome, Krillarbran.

Now, if your name was Killerbran, I could do something with it. But I'm stuck; I got nothing funny to say about krillarbran. Sorry. Except, maybe its some sort of whale laxitive? Nope. That would be Krill 'n Bran. Not even funny. See?

Come enjoy our discussions! Enjoy the Final C's! And most importantly get ramped up because in about nine months there'll be some new material to chew over, and those are exciting times here in the Watch.

Lol. I have been using Krillarbran for years now as my computer game and forums nickname. It was created, funnily enough, using the word Krill, I think is a name of the sword or dagger in the First Chrons and adding er at the end, then at the end Bran, I think is a Celtic or Welsh God of War. Make something funny outta that lol.

Aye plenty of discussions to look into. Thankyou for these generous welcomes. :-D

Welcome, Ezio and Ur-Baggins! Feel free to wonder about and post of what strikes your fancy! And don't mind Wayfriend, you just have to threaten him with elfin rope from time to time :P

Hideeho folks,
I am simply tickled to find this board. And am having a great time perusing the boards.
I am a lurker, by nature *, and am a little concerned about the purging of "inactive users" that I read about. How long between "hellos" do I have?
Ta-ta for now,
