Hey Newbies, over here first Come on in and tell us more about yourself. IMPORTANT: For new members, please read "New Members Only" BEFORE registering.
I was introduced to the first chrons in my freshman year of college by my then boyfriend in the fall of '78. He is the one who also introduced me to Tolkien's LotR. I was raised on Asimov and Bradbury by my Daddy. I have much to thank Bob for introducing me to fantasy, should I ever be in touch with him again...
Welcome, Doctor of Inadequacies. I hope you find soul-asuage enough here at the Watch that you will soon change your despair-laden name. (Unless your member name is some sort of unflattering comment about Linden Avery. In which case, no soul-asuage for you!)

I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of Against All Things Ending and just found out about this forum. I am Eruth, daughter of Ruth and my employer just cut my hours from full time to 50%. One good thing is I'll have more time to read.
Welcome to the Watch, Eruth! Jump right in to any discussions that interest you (the choices are varied and many), and feel free to ask any questions you may have along the way.

Welcome SkyWise. Nothing to be timid of around here - nothing you could post could be a bigger bomb than some of the stuff I've posted. You never know what you're capable of until you try...
