I wasn't sure about the picture too. I thought Sandra as well, but realized the eyes weren't right. And I never realized that Nina Hagen was as hot as all that. I'm used to seeing her like this:sgt.null wrote:well i know of nina but am a fan of Sandra. glad to know i am not the only one to make that mistake.

Hiya!
I can't believe I haven't come into here before now...I've been reading Donaldson since high school...and just to give you an idea, I remember waiting (not so)patiently for every one of the new Chronicle books since "The Power That Preserves"...I even got my son into the Chronicles, when he was a kid...and he's just finished his Masters Degree...(Time flies!)
Great to know this is here for us! (Oh...I'll figure out an avatar later on!)

Greetings to everyone.
Just finished book 9, not realizing that Last Chronicles was a 4 book series. Sad to know that the conclusion is several years off.
First read Thomas's story in the early 90's I believe. I was immediately taken with the richness of the tale.
Truth be told, I do not read much fantasy. LOTR in my youth, and again when the movies came about. But I've read all the Thomas Covenant books as well as the Mordant's Need books. I have always loved that Donaldson challenges me as a reader in so many ways.
I'm interested to jump in and see what everyone's thoughts are on the latest tales from the Land.

Welcome Bworl, What Cambo said
The AATE forum may be hidden, go to the Last Chronicles forum if you see it, and see if you see AATE, that's where all the current book talk is happening.
I'm sure another Mod or the specific Mod for that Forum will help you if you can't find how to reach AATE Forum
