Hi all, I've just arrived in The Land and this is my first post 8)

I'm in Texas USA, a musician & IT worker.

I first read the original trilogy when I was 17 (circa 1988) and wasn't even aware there WERE any further books until this month.

I bought up the first three again to reread them, and found there was a second and now third set in the Covenant series. Today I just finished THE ONE TREE and need to find the third book in the 2nd trilogy.

I've bought the 1st book in the last series, but need to find the others as well.

Welcome Century House, how cool, you only just discovered the 2nd, let alone the 3rd Series. There was a long time between the 2nd and 3rd (Third is 4 books, BTW) and the 3rd Series is only about 2 years away from release of the book, Book 4.

Amazon or Ebay should easily get you the books you need.

Hi centuryhouse!

Welcome to the Watch. Be wary of Second Chrons spoilers- I wouldn't want anything to spoil the ending of White Gold Wielder for you. When I first read it, something cataclysmic happened in my brain. The rest of the Watch can likely attest to the results.

Sheesh, I know what you mean. About the feeling at the end of WGW I mean, not the putative effect it may or may not have had on your brain. :D

Yeah, stay outta the Chrons forums until you've finished WGW I think.

Do other stuff in the meanwhile.

I just joined today, the first day of the year 2012! So Happy New Year! <3 Also, please be patient with me. I have only joined one forum prior to this one, some years ago, and barely used it. I am sure I will get much more use out of this one though. So... nice to meet you :)

Welcome, animal-Mellow-cat. You will be a vastly great addition to our team here.

Allow me to introduce myself: hi.

Keep your whiskers clean, stay out of troubles, and don't gorge on this website but sip it quietly and with sassy class.

Or classy sass.

I also recommend this book, if you can find it in your local gadget shop:

Lord Foul's Bane

It's about me!

Nice to meet you, Sorus!

And thank you, and hello to you, your foul lordship! I promise to be good... I will quietly sip this forum. I added the book you recommended to my Barnes&Noble cart. Soon I will be able to fully immerse myself with the intimate details of your life... my knowledge of you will be like that of a stalker! YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT.

Silliness aside, I really do intend to purchase "Lord Foul's Bane" and then I'll have legitimate reasons for joining this forum.

Welcome to the Watch MC.

Do we take it you don't have a legitimate reason for joining yet? Not read SRD? Beware spoilers if that's the case.

But join in anywhere else too.

Welcome Mellowcat!

And I'm curious: you're the second or third Watcher I've seen who hasn't read Covenant. Nothing wrong with that (apart from your life being as yet unfulfilled :P ), but, uhh, how do you people find this place? I found it through SRD's website years after I first read Covenant.
