Howdy Folks!

Post by Sparkish One »

Howdy all! My name is Stefan and I'm a 40 year old guy living in the Mountains of North Georgia, USA, where it's currently snowing!

I've been an avid fantasy/sci-fi buff since picking up my first book at the tender age of 5, (The Hobbit) and haven't looked back since! I'm a Professional Chef by day and a book-worm/internet nut/movie watcher by night. (LOL)

I have to say, I am re-reading TCTC, and am currently on page 244 of The Power That Preserves (Chapter: The Ritual of Desecration) and had a fancy to look up 'Ur-Viles' online, and that's how I ran across this site, and boy, am I glad I did.

Glad to be a part of this community, and can't wait to go wandering through the various areas and see what's all here!

Greetings and welcome Sparkish One.

As much as you'll love wandering through the various Chronicles forums, you are under orders right now to go to the Galley and share, share share!

Actually, the above is probably too much like work for you. But it's not about you, it's about us! ;)

I'll have to head to The Galley in the morning, I think, as if I try and stay awake any longer, my head will fall off....but I'll be there for breakfast!

Haha, welcome to the Watch, Sparkish One!

Glad to see that you're not planning to just let your head fall right onto the keyboard and post that jumble of letters that results as "content."
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."

Thanks for all the warm welcomes, everyone!

'Sparky' is just fine. It's the usual nick on most of the sites I visit, so I feel right at home.

Oh, and on 'The Galley'....give me a week or so to recuperate from all the Holiday Kitchen Madness, and I'll see if I can 'spark' a few tastebuds! :-P
