General Discussion is the most interesting forum here. It's often the first one I check, cause that's where people are most likely to post what they're up to these days.

I play in Mallory's occasionally, but I don't have the time or patience for most of the games, to be perfectly honest.

Ananda wrote:Mallorys is the most interesting forum here, I think. It has a lot of abc games and I think they are pretty silly, but there are a few fun games there. The bad writing game that Vraith made is the most fun thread on the forum, in my opinion (for which I had immediately clicked the 'good post' button). And the few fun threads in that hold mallorys together are far more interesting than most everything else on the forum put together. :P :ct12: :ct12: :ct12:
We'll have to agree to disagree here. For me, Gravin Threndor is what keeps me here. Although I do love the interaction among posters throughout the Watch.

I never really looked at that one. it's basically turn based roleplaying or so?

For me, I check Mallorys, The Galley, books discussion, general discussion and then the tank if I am having insomnia.

It is, and having never played a table top role playing game, Pantheon was my first exposure to role playing. Became almost as bad an addict as Fist, once I began playing...

The two schools of thought
About Gravin Threndor games
Divide the players

The “competitors”
Scheme and seek advantages
Winning is their thing

The “storytellers”
Are all about narrative
And exposition

If you read her work
It’s clear which camp Menolly
Aligns herself with

SARGE! You know, there's a thread for these kinds of 'quotes'!
...but I won't mention where...
ok - you have to admit i have made mallory's into my own private meta-game.
Hmmm. I'm not sure that admitting you metagame is the way to positively impress a diehard RP'er, sarge.

Especially - I'm guessing which camp Menolly falls in to, as per DPJ's poem. (nice one DPJ!)

I second that...
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor

"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."

Yeah? You might in danger of turning the Watch into your own private meta-mallorys. :LOLS: Don't.

Didn't mention the post count, Murrin, congratulations :bestwishes:

Av, did you ever hear this joke:

A man in a bathhouse can't find a towel. He looks around and sees a warning: "Don't wipe yourself with the curtains". "Hey, that's an idea!".
