A lot of the GT purists are real life friends of others who play in GT. Mephiston was brought here by Xar; goatkiller was brought here by Seven Words; dorian and StoneMagnet were brought here Montresor, who was brought here in turn by his brother Loremaster; etc.
Now, some of these "purists" have occasionally branched out in to other forums on the Watch. But that is usually not the case.

I know Montresor posted in the dreaming thread occasionally and I seem to recall he posted in the Battlestar Galactica thread. But like Lore, he's been MIA for awhile, as far as I know.
