Thank you all for the greetings.
As I'm on my phone, I can't readily recall who asked what, so I'll just answer.

I've enjoyed a number of Master Donaldson's works; short stories, the mirror magic set, etc....

The Gap series has escaped my review, but scifi is a glutted form, with tons to choose from, but also tons to wade through- kinda like a sewer.

Unhealthy pastimes/habits include smoking,(pack a week), blasting loud music, playing same, raising children, living in America in the current political climate and refusing to NOT discuss religion and politics in mixed company. ;0)

I'm liking forward to configuring both well and regularly, a time and circumstances allow.

Task you ask for the welcome!

Welcome to the watch, fully. Perhaps you should configure your smartphone to not correct spelling ottomatically!

A pack a week? That's scarcely smoking. I easily manage a pack a day. As for that last, you should click on the link in my signature, if you haven't stumbled on the 'Tank already... ;)

Hello All! I came across this site while doing some quick research about when the last book of the Last Chronicles of Thomas Covenant would be released. I've read almost everything else Donaldson has written, and can't wait for the conclusion. I'm almost half way through the reread of the first 9 books, and should finish pretty close to the release of The Last Dark.

Glad to see there are so many fans!!

Hello Stevo. Everything?? Including Reave the Just and Daughter of Regals, Gap books and Mordant's Need?? I didn't even know about most of those until I came here almost a year ago, but I've read them all now. :D

Greetings, Stevo. A reread like that takes some persistence - reminds me of a certain leper who tries to "kill off" an immortal being for the third time around. A task somewhat similar to rereads - no matter how many times you do that, you have any number more to go. Unless you do something really radical - like burning the book or unlearning to read, which may even not help - and I thoroughly don't recommend, neither to you, nor to him, most certainly.
I have many names... and may play many roles

So that it's clear: I'm not the Lord Foul who was on the Watch before, from 26.10.2002 to 16.06.2012

I haven't read Reave the Just ... but that's now on my list! :) Loved the Gap books, totally unlike the other books!

Thanks all for the warm welcome!

Stevo!! Welcome! Some of my friends also call me Stevo, not surprising really... Have you read the Man Who series by Donaldson - they're also a good read. Reave the Just is part of a collection of short stories, and well worth looking up.

Hope you stick around! :D you really should be an Aussie with a name like Stevo!
