Since my savrit is barely at the phonetic level, and that's only with vowels, the pun took me awhile.

Hello everyone! I was on this board a few years back and it's good to see some familiar names still around. Currently on my 12th read-through of the Chrons, about 150 pages into TWL at the moment. It's good to be back :)

Greetings & Welcome! (welcome back, except I don't know if I was around then.)

Twelfth re-read... impressive!
"People without hope not only don't write novels, but what is more to the point, they don't read them.
They don't take long looks at anything, because they lack the courage.
The way to despair is to refuse to have any kind of experience, and the novel, of course, is a way to have experience."
-Flannery O'Connor

"In spite of much that militates against quietness there are people who still read books. They are the people who keep me going."
-Elisabeth Elliot, Preface, "A Chance to Die: The Life and Legacy of Amy Carmichael"

Thank you :) I try to read the whole Chrons at least once a year lol If I quit reading in the middle I get all neurotic thinking: "Oh no! I left the Giants trapped in Soulbiter, I'm so horrible!" Lol anyhow, once I get started it's hard to stop.

Well, actually it happened twice lol Although the first time it was because the e-mail I used didn't exist anymore so I couldn't retrieve a new password, and this last time was because I hadn't been on the board in about 3 years and once again couldn't remember what email I used...so, starting from scratch again lol.
Thank you all for the welcome!

lol ... you sound like me! I don't make it totally once a year but it is close. I know I have read the first six at least 10 times. Thank goodness for the electronic versions coming out! My copy of Lord Foul's Bane is in pieces :(

Tell me about it lol. My first read through was my Dad's paperbacks that had the old fantasy covers he bought back in '77-'78 and they were worn out. I have the "gold ring" covers and they are falling apart too lol.

Greetings, LuketheUnbeliever3. Did we meet? Or did you meet another me?
I have many names... and may play many roles

So that it's clear: I'm not the Lord Foul who was on the Watch before, from 26.10.2002 to 16.06.2012
