Hello from New Mexico!
Well, poopsicles!
I'm supposed to tell you a little about me, here, I guess. I'm 46 and live in Ruidoso NM, which is a mountain town that is focused on tourism. In the real world, I'm a supervisor for a local Subway restaurant. I don't have the manager's title or pay, but I definitely have the responsibility, so I guess I'm the closest thing we've got to a store manager (at least, when the owner's out of town, lol!).
I'm a musician and writer, and some of my work is published on my website, which is my username from here with the dot net ending. I have one book that is published through Amazon.com/CreateSpace publishing.
I've been a fan of SRD since my teens, and am currently reading the third book in the Last Chronicles (Against All Things Ending). I will say this latest series of books seems a bit more convoluted and difficult to follow than the previous two ventures, but I'm staying with it

Welcome to the Watch, dannyraymilligan!
May you thrive here...and contribute.
Ruidoso is home to some other Watchers, and of course NM is home to SRD himself. We look forward to meeting you next year at Elohimfest when Watchers from everywhere will converge on Albuquerque.

Be Welcome to the Watch, Danny.
Be Well Come and True.
Besides SRD-themed topics, come check out some of the other forums as well. As mod of The Galley, I would enjoy welcoming you to discuss food and drink. As a musician, you may enjoy posting in Vespers. And as a writer, you may wish to share some of your work in The Hall of Gifts.
There is also a Writers Circle on the Watch, but that forum is hidden. Post your interest should it be piqued, and I'm sure someone will be along who can tell you how to join.

"Most people are other people. Their thoughts are someone else's opinions, their lives a mimicry, their passions a quotation."
the hyperbole is a beauty...for we are then allowed to say a little more than the truth...and language is more efficient when it goes beyond reality than when it stops short of it.

r'ply?? r'ply??? Don't try your hyphenated tricks on *me*, Mr. Sir. That's still TWO syllables.
Otherwise, it was awesome. And just in time for St. Paddy's Day, too!
Oh yeah -- welcome, Danny!

Re: Hello from New Mexico!
Greetings, dannyraymilligan. Are you gone yet? This is something of a habit with the new people, I often see them when they're already gone, like people see the light from the distant stars already not existent.
It lacks my profound presence. But worry not, I have plans yet.dannyraymilligan wrote:I will say this latest series of books seems a bit more convoluted and difficult to follow than the previous two ventures, but I'm staying with it
I have many names... and may play many roles
So that it's clear: I'm not the Lord Foul who was on the Watch before, from 26.10.2002 to 16.06.2012
