thank you. w married april 30th in 1994. but the paperwork did not clear til July fourth of that year.

April 30 is also my anniversary with Dam-sel. We married Saturday, April 30, 1988.

The intent was a Beltane wedding, with a secondary intent of being able to wake up married-and-consummated on the morning of May 1 and be able to say "Mayday, Mayday!"

Silly, perhaps...but we both worked for NASA back then. Those who have followed my posts here for the last however-many years surely see the multiple levels of additional-but-not-contradictory meaning.

We may get them really hot...but no, we don't actually burn them.

You couldn't even remember what type of steak you had bought, which we had just eaten, without looking at the packaging. Yeah, it was a strange night, last night.

I am shocked that I made such a base mistake. we were supposed to be married april 30th 1994 because it is my birthday. but Julie's ex would not swap weekends with thir son's visitation. (hubby had primary custody) so we had the wedding a week early, april 22nd. that coincided with her son's birthday. he (her son) has proven to be exceedingly difficult these last many years. so I guess I noted the day as I wished it has always been. sorry.

Thanks! We went out for dinner to celebrate. And then to our favorite ice cream place.

After that we took a nice walk on the open air mall near our house and went window shopping. Some guy from a fancy shop tried to talk me into buying $200 face cream. Um...no!
