The main character's name is Anastasia Steele... really? She is 21, never been kissed, never been drunk, gorgeous, but unaware of it, never had any interest in men, blushes all of the time and basically acts like a 14 year old girl. I am still reading in case the sex parts make it all worth while (haven't gotten to those yet, but I sense we will have some bdsm going on). If I get one wish, it will be for the author to stop using the term 'cheshire cat grin' and describing the blushing as 'cheeks flamed' for at least two chapters. I've never read a romance novel before (unless you count Anne Rice's erotica, so maybe I have!). Is this one supposed to be an example of a well written romance? Why did it become so big when books such as these are over looked?

Ali, you may not know this (not many do) but Ananda runs a very specialist website – only accessible on the Dark Internet – dedicated to the very subject of Dinoporn.

Ananda, after some detailed research, I can reveal that the third volume in Christie Sims' "Deviant Dino Debauchery" tetraology has just been released. Here's an image for your viewing pleasure, which will have to suffice to whet your febrile appetite until you can get your trembling hands on a copy...

I should also let you know that I've uncovered a further faint rumour that the last book in Ms. Sims' masterly oeuvres is to be entitled "Rear-ended by the Rhamporynchus", but this is not as yet confirmed...

As to "Fifty Shades", needless to say I've never bothered with such "mummy porn" – and not just because, as Av rightly informs, the garbage started out as online Twilight fan fiction. However, I'm told by one of my friends that the central message of the book is that, if one wants to attract a perverse multi-millionaire, all one apparently needs to do is to ensure he sees you biting your lip repeatedly and then be prepared to endure several spankings.

Ananda, perhaps you could test this advice out and report back? I'm sure there must be a reasonable number of deviant oligarchs to target in Scandiwegia?
Newsflash: the word "irony" doesn't mean "a bit like iron"

Shockingly, some people have claimed that I'm egocentric... but hey, enough about them

Oh, Fallen, you naive boy... Everyone knows that brontosauruses aren't hawt. You need a predator for it to be hawt. Like, Topped by a T-rex or Rammed by a Raptor. You should visit my site in the darknet more and I will give you a free dino-dildo as a gift.

For Shades of grey... Eek, I am having a hard time continuing. It is sooooo bad. But, I am sort of trapped into reading it now since I did tell my bff I was reading it and she was so happy. It is funny that you say it started as twilight fanfiction because I had thought it seemed like a bad vampire story.

For the bdsm and lip biting, both of these works. I am not much of a lip biter, but I believe in trying most things at least once. I used to have a friend who was really into bdsm stuffies. She used to take me to these private dungeon parties where anything went. I tried out a lot of things including being stripped, bound to a bench, blindfolded and then this guy (who was into this- it was his fetish) would do stuff to me in front of a crowd. Was kind of fun, but not something I would go out of my way to do. I tried being the one with the instruments and whips, too. Was also kind of fun, but not really something to do all of the time.

I did bring a nice looking guy friend who was curious to the parties a few times. We got a fun time there by actually shocking these people who we thought were unshockable. He and I were just friends, but we'd have sex sometimes. So, we told them he was my half brother. When they became shocked (and one of the guys reeeeeeeally interested) over us kissing, we said it was only half bad since we were just half related.

One of the common criticisms I've seen made of 50 Shades is from the BDSM community, saying it's pretty bad on showing safe practice and consent. Haven't felt any desire to look at the books myself, since they're supposed to be pretty badly written.

No, sorry.
It's just that there's a reputation for some close family breeding in some parts of the south here...

jaha... I thought maybe this was an implied admission that you frequent such parties. I liked that explanation better.

It wasn't my day. This morning, I was sharpening an eyeliner pencil over the toalett and dropped it in... It was just new...

Then, I dropped my mascara down the bathtub drain...

And, I stuck a nail through one of my favourite shirts.

Have fun with lorin, Ali. Sounds like a nice holiday.

Grats. Or good luck. Or both.

Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?

Ananda, there was one day at work when I accidentally flushed my ID down the toilet. Try explaining *that* to Security when they ask you why you need a new one.

Batty managed to drag me out of the house to the grocery store yesterday, but today I stayed in all day -- finished making a new sweater and...actually, that was about it.

Heading up to NY tomorrow.... Brace yourself, lorin!

hihihi! be sure to mention The Fallen's cute dimples and giggle. :P

This cold thingie we have going around here is awful! It does not give up...ever! I am going to the doctor monday because it just lingers and lingers. hmpf!

I know everyone is dying for an update for Fifty Shades of Grey, so here it is...

Firstly, I was very interested in the author having read more of the book and hearing that it was originally fan fiction. I was curious if the author was male or female, first of all. It turned out she is a she. I thought probably it was, but was not positive since it came away as so juvenile.

Apparently, she had never written at all before 2009 when she started writing fan fiction. She was in her late/mid forties. By this date, she has made 95 million usd over this series! Respect, sister! It may be the worst thing I've ever read, but good for her!

Now, to the story. Stop now if you don't want spoilers!
Christian Grey, the 27 year old billionaire hottie and sadist has seduced our young and innocent Anastasia Steele! Oh my! (as the main character says over and over and over in the story)

Christian informs her that he is not like normal men, though..He does not make love. No, he 'fucks...hard'. So, as you can imagine, he then proceeded to fuck Ms. Steele...hard. The poor girl can hardly see straight, she is so taken by his fucking. And, after only a few days, she agrees to be his submissive! Oh my!

More later. I know you can't wait!
