The main character's name is Anastasia Steele... really? She is 21, never been kissed, never been drunk, gorgeous, but unaware of it, never had any interest in men, blushes all of the time and basically acts like a 14 year old girl. I am still reading in case the sex parts make it all worth while (haven't gotten to those yet, but I sense we will have some bdsm going on). If I get one wish, it will be for the author to stop using the term 'cheshire cat grin' and describing the blushing as 'cheeks flamed' for at least two chapters. I've never read a romance novel before (unless you count Anne Rice's erotica, so maybe I have!). Is this one supposed to be an example of a well written romance? Why did it become so big when books such as these are over looked?
Ali, you may not know this (not many do) but Ananda runs a very specialist website – only accessible on the Dark Internet – dedicated to the very subject of Dinoporn.aliantha wrote:Dino porn!I've heard about this stuff but have never read any.
Oh, Fallen, you naive boy... Everyone knows that brontosauruses aren't hawt. You need a predator for it to be hawt. Like, Topped by a T-rex or Rammed by a Raptor. You should visit my site in the darknet more and I will give you a free dino-dildo as a gift.TheFallen wrote:Ananda wrote:I joked about fifty shades of grey and heard people talk about it and one of my BFFs has been bugging me to read it for a long time. Ananda, after some detailed research, I can reveal that the third volume in Christie Sims' "Deviant Dino Debauchery" tetraology has just been released. Here's an image for your viewing pleasure, which will have to suffice to whet your febrile appetite until you can get your trembling hands on a copy...
I should also let you know that I've uncovered a further faint rumour that the last book in Ms. Sims' masterly oeuvres is to be entitled "Rear-ended by the Rhamporynchus", but this is not as yet confirmed...
As to "Fifty Shades", needless to say I've never bothered with such "mummy porn" – and not just because, as Av rightly informs, the garbage started out as online Twilight fan fiction. However, I'm told by one of my friends that the central message of the book is that, if one wants to attract a perverse multi-millionaire, all one apparently needs to do is to ensure he sees you biting your lip repeatedly and then be prepared to endure several spankings.
Ananda, perhaps you could test this advice out and report back? I'm sure there must be a reasonable number of deviant oligarchs to target in Scandiwegia?
No, sorry.michaelm wrote:Was it a party in the southern states of the US....?Ananda wrote:So, we told them he was my half brother. When they became shocked (and one of the guys reeeeeeeally interested) over us kissing, we said it was only half bad since we were just half related.
It's just that there's a reputation for some close family breeding in some parts of the south here...Ananda wrote:No, sorry.michaelm wrote:Was it a party in the southern states of the US....?Ananda wrote:So, we told them he was my half brother. jaha... I thought maybe this was an implied admission that you frequent such parties. I liked that explanation better.michaelm wrote:It's just that there's a reputation for some close family breeding in some parts of the south here...Ananda wrote:No, sorry.michaelm wrote: Was it a party in the southern states of the US....?
