Iorveth's of course. Dunno if I can face it again...not like Skyrim which I replayed multiple times, one after the other.
I mainly bought it because it was on sale and I approve of DRM Free games. Never played the first one.
If they make it real open world though, that will be great. It felt a bit linear.
Anyway, I see X: Rebirth is out (if buggy), and Star Citizen is due soon, that looks like it could be good.

So Dragon Age 3 and Witcher 3 are being set back a few months (November for DA3 and Feb 2015 for Witcher 3) and I am RAGE.
But Sims 4, Alien: Isolation, and Assassin's Creed: Unity (I know, I know) are coming out this fall, so I won't be completely bored.

I wonder if my wife knows this yet? She is eagerly anticipating both games. I don't think she pre-ordered them but I will advise her to do so.JazFusion wrote:So Dragon Age 3 and Witcher 3 are being set back a few months (November for DA3 and Feb 2015 for Witcher 3) and I am RAGE.
I think my Wasteland 2 is just about to be released; they just sent me an e-mail a week ago to remind me to double-check my mailing and e-mail address so that I show up in the in-game backer credits correctly and my donation rewards reach me.
Other than that, I am just sitting in limbo until Fallout 4 comes out but that probably won't happen until 2016.
The Tank is gone and now so am I.

Just watched a Q&A demo of the upcoming M&B II: BannerLord.
https://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/15
I cannot wait for this game. I'll pay full price for it. Hell, I'll pre-order it.
And they're hoping to have it out in some form, (open beta or early access) by the end of this year.
M&B: Warband was brilliant, and it was still pretty shit. Mods helped, but the underlying limitations made what could have been incredible into something with unrealised potential.
Looks like they're realising the potential now.

I like the look of two games in particular at the moment (but hell, I've only got to see a trailer to be salivating for the game so it doesn't mean much really) but I'll press on anyway.
There's a recent release called A Plague Tale. Innocence that has caught my eye. It's a straight through linear story set in medieval plague times in which a young lass must shepherd and protect her young brother through the challenging environment (hordes of flesh feasting rats in the main) to ......err....... somewhere, and avoid the clutches of the baddies who are after them. It's a stealth orientated game, and a clear run from one end to the other (which I'm kind of hankering for just a bit at the moment). The story is apparently good and the characters engaging - and visually it looks impressive. I'm in!
Then there is the long awaited Darkborn. This is a sort of Skyrim where instead of being on the 'good' side, you're actually born as one of the so-called baddies of traditional games. You awake as a pup your family having been slaughtered by helmeted soldiers who have taken a fancy to your land, and are gradually shepherded by 'a voice' into full understanding of what has happened and your powers to fight against it. There is an interesting looking trailer with a bit of gameplay thrown in on YouTube that if you're interested might be worth a look see.
Saw a trailer for last year's Call of the Cuthululast night and that looked interesting as well!
Damn - I'm like a kid in a sweet shop here!

Wow, after 9 years of development, M&B II: Bannerlord, is going into closed multi-player beta: https://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/News
Hopefully they will release this game before I die.

Despite my increasing dislike of Minecraft and its clones, I'm very much looking forward to Dragon Quest Builders 2. The first was surprisingly a heap of fun, and kept increasing the challenge until the end. I hope I enjoy this one as much.

The trailers for Ghost of Tsushima have me almost gibbering in anticipation: this is exactly the kind of rich sensory immersive environment that I play games in order to experience. Alas, the game, though apparently near ready for release, is being held back so that it doesn't clash with another big Sony release planned for the summer (I forget which), but might be put out later in the year.
Oh please, please, let it be so.........!

Check out a game called GreedFall Av. Out on September 10 it is coming to PC as well as the consuls and has an interesting look to it. Trouble is I'm a sucker for a good trailer; I'd finish up buying the lot!
