Been lurking for a few days -- nice forum you got here.

I experienced a spontaneous resurgence of Land-love recently, and here I am. The revived enthusiam is odd, because I skimmed through Runes in the bookstore when it came out and left without buying it. (As I expected, it had only one passing reference to the Ur-Woobie Caer-Caveral. Sigh. Where's the Caer-Caveral love, for pity's sake? Mine is a lonely torch to carry.)

But I bought copies of TWL and WGW last night, and I expect Runes will follow in due course. I love spoilers, so I've been checking out the comments, and maybe it'll turn out to be a better read than I'm expecting.

In the meantime, I look forward to reading all the interesting posts and discussions. The Hile Troy thread was a highlight, needless to say. :)

I've been over to Mallory's, but the word games are way over my poor head. I need to reread all the books before trying to jump in, or I'll just flail. :)

Thanks to you and all for the nice welcome! I like this place so much.

Welcome to the Watch!

And yes, Mallory's is quite a joy to visit (and an easy way to rack up those WGD)
