Happy to find this messageboard
Hello all; I'm 42, male, single TC fan from South Carolina. I first read the series in the early 80's and have since reread it at least 7-8 times. I found this board via a link on a review of a SRD book on Amazon.com about a week ago, and have been engrossed in reading the discussions dating back 3-4 years.
I've got a loooooong way to go before I'll be able to contribute to any of the discussions methinks! I'm very impressed with the eloquence of the members posting here.
One of the threads here I believe discussed trying to get friends to read TCoTC and I've certainly found the discussion there to be true; most of my reading friends found him too distasteful and unlikeable to be able to get past LFB.
There's no accounting for taste!
Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to the other TC obsessives!

where they get upset about the [size of my]

cause... i'm from Kentucky
and that's not what we brag about.

Just jump in.
Some of us just pretend to know more than others.
Your opinion right now is just as good.

And you never know when a different point of view can get a thread going again.
Welcome aboard.
