I tried to find the thread that talked about the timeline of the 3rd Chron (how many days Linden's been in the Land so far) but failed. This question might fit here so here goes: Does the fact that the 1st book takes place over a very short time (funny question since it's going to be all about time!...

Having sex with your girlfriend while your crazy x-wife is in town throwing a reality rending temper tantrum *might* not be a good idea.

....the answer can be found TWL. Hile Troy as Caer-caveral still had no eyes. He had sight, but no eyes. Covenant won't have leprosy, but the physical traits will still be there, therefore a halfhand. Nope. Hile Troy never died until Sunder Killed him. That was still his original "translated&q...

I disagree. TC, in the very quote you supplied was specifically talking about serving Revelstone as a place for the people of the Land. But you missed a VERY important (imo) part of the quote you supplied. "So the future will have a place to centre. A place where people can come to learn about ...

ZefaLefeLaH, I suspect you're going to get slammed about that post but I couldn't stop laughing!!! Is that from one of those programs where you plug in a word like "Haruchai" and it makes a story for you? I love those sites. I split Zeph's post (and edited it) as off topic. Yeah, I didn't...

Why in the world would he *choose* NOT to? He knows that he's not going back to the "real" world so losing his leper training (what freaked him out in the first chronicles) isn't an issue anymore. He was hoping for hurtloam when he first arrived in the 2nd too. A leper-free and full finger...

I think the name of the affliction itself holds the answer. Kevin's Dirt. What did Kevin do? Ritual of Desecration. When did the Demondim vanish? Ritual of Desecration. Why'd they vanish? Esmer took them. Who brought the Demondim to Linden after she reclaimed the staff of law? Esmer. When did Kevin...

Maybe Covenent can get the now realsized car working with some Giant technology and have the engine powered by the 5th Ward. Driving the car, he'll attack the Demondim with spinning orcrest knives and lomillialor arrows shot shot from a crossbow. Then Ash will.... wait a minute, what are we talking ...

Oh no! I hope he does save his notes. After the 3rd chronicle ends I'd love to see where he might have gone with the whole thing. All the ideas he dropped and how things changed and why. That's all good stuff. It doesn't take away from his story either. Post it on the net if no one will publish it. ...

Re: Lord Fouls Resume: Past work experience

Just curious, anyone have any speculations on just where Foul was, and what all he did? Lord Covenent, oops!, I mean Lord Foul  wasn't even there in the past until he was dumped out from the future by a caesure just near Revelstone where he was welcomed by High Lord Kevin. Or was that Roger w...

Heh. I'm 40, and pretty darned happy they're not for kids. :D Yeah, except when you have kids and you want them to get into comics. (Believe me, I really liked the violence and the breast "explosions" of the '90s) When I was 8 or 9 the comics were pretty much self contained. You were intr...

Double bah! ;) Crisis still rates as one of the best stories ever published by DC, even if it was a little "seat of the pants" at times. :) Maybe I should read it again. I don't remember having nearly that good an opinion of it. Well it had just about everyone in it, which is always good....
