I've read that this whole change from Goddess-worshipping, polytheistic religion to a single male deity was started - maybe made possible at all - by essentially one thing; when humanity somehow (I don't know how, or don't remember, or something) found out that men also contributes to creating child...

I've read The Spellsong Cycle by Modesitt, which was pretty good, and The Runelords Series/Saga/Whatever by Farland, which was.. interesting, cause it was a bit original, but not all that great, really.

I find it pretty amusing that we had a guy over at TarValon.net -- yeah, I know, but I'm really just there for the people! -- who posted a thread about how he can't call himself a WoT fan anymore. And all the replies, except for one or two, were like "yeah, me neither". ;)

Also, in what may be stating the obvious, it is "Elena" spelled backwards -- which puts Anele's comment that he was "born again" in a more intriguing context and makes it too coincidental that he lost the Staff of Law. SRD has stated that there's no hidden meaning to Anele's nam...
