I think only Thomas Covenant is the white gold. The songs and propheses were about him, pretty nearly describing him. Linden and Joan are most likely only weilders.

I hate to say it, but Pitchwife always bugged me. Oh, not his personality and such, but because he seemed to like Linden more than TC. TC was the damn hero of the story, Linden only did what she had to do at the end (yeah, I know, I'm oversimplifying her).
