I'm really enjoying the game, but I must say I've found the same thing. I've hopped in and out of open parties (really nice feature, by the way) but I've played about 10 levels and I've not even seen anyone speak in chat. Maybe it's because of the crowd attracted to beta testing, although I found th...

Well, I finally got the chance to get into the open beta...and I'm really enjoying it! I had my heart set on playing a Squig Herder or a Chaos Chosen, but apparently the Forces of Order are much less popular (you can see the realm population for each faction, which is a great idea for helping with b...

Yeah, the more I think about it the more I realise that there's a real short vs. long term tradeoff in the game. If you're a big, strong, aggressive carnivore then it makes the creature and tribal stages much easier. However, when you get to the civilization stage many of the other civs are the same...

I could go for that, as my 360 went the way of the red ring last week. I only have the basic game though, no expansions.

I picked it up at the weekend and it's a pretty awesome experience. It plays like a series of increasingly difficult minigames until you make it into space, at which point it really kicks up a notch. My first species was a very aggressive carnivore, which gives you advantages during the creature, tr...

After all the open beta excitement, it seems something has gone horribly wrong with the European authentication servers. If you'd registered before the beta opened then I think you're all right, but if you didn't you're kind of boned for the time being. They've taken the registration page down for a...

For those who might be interested, you can join the open beta here:

www.fileplay.net/keys/warhammer

You'll need to download 7.5GB of files to play, however! I'll post some pics when I'm in.

I'm currently downloading the Warhammer Online beta and playing old school Championship Manager 01/02. It's purely PC gaming for me at the moment, since my Xbox 360 has just red-ringed. It was 18 months old, that's a good innings for a 360!

Warhammer: Age of Reckoning

Or WAR for short  Anyway, judging by what's coming out of the closed beta, this is shaping up to be the MMO event of the year, a game to finally provide real competition to WoW where pale imitation Age of Conan failed. I've got to give credit to Mythic straight off the bat, they had a solid MM...

Yeah, the Keegan thing's crazy, I can't possibly imagine him taking charge of their next game. I reckone they want to move him upstairs and he's resisting and refusing to resign. He probably wants them to sack him to make Mike Ashley look as bad as possible in the eyes of the fans. I'm familiar with...

It seems like there's more when you're playing, but that's the list. Many of them have different layouts (like the GP loop at Donington) so that might have something to do with it. I went to see the DTM at Brands Hatch at the weekend actually, they used the tiny Indy layout, which was a shame I thin...

I think I'd be able to make it to London on the 20th, I'm on a business trip on the 19th and there's no rugby game for the 2nd XV that Saturday. Sounds like a great trip!

I don't think either of them are there I'm afraid, as far as I know the track list is: Circuito del Jarama, Madrid Nürburgring Sudschleife, Nürburg Donington Park, Leicestershire Istanbul Park, Istanbul Milan (street circuit) Circuit de la Sarthe, Le Mans Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium Otukama Grand Cir...

Well, I had been playing it but I've now decided to stop because I can't be bothered with it anymore. Warhammer Online is pretty much what it sounds like: an MMO set in the Warhammer world. Early impressions are that it might finally be the first serious competitor to WoW, but it has far more of a p...

I've not been playing Age of Conan and I've decided to cancel my subscription after two months. It's a very ambitious game, it looks fantastic and the combat system, which is a lot more active than games like WoW, works very well. Unfortunately it still has a number of serious bugs. I kept having th...

I have it for the 360 and find it a very enjoyable game. At first I was disappointed that they had gone for the arcadey, overly-grippy handling that they employed in DIRT but the game is just plain fun. My only real gripe is that, because the handling isn't realistic, the cars corner in quite an unp...

I took my uncle's BMW down that street when I was in San Francisco. There was a lot of traffic, not really any room to go fast. I really like the new Smart cars, I'd have one but they're a bit weedy for long distance driving. They're great in the city though; you can park nose-on to the kerb they're...

The diagrams on the fellatio one would lead me to believe that the project was about the GI tract. The banana she's holding, the one with a condom rolled on to it, suggests otherwise!

I'm playing five at the back, all from different teams to try and pick up clean sheets where possible. I've tried having two or three defenders from a strong team before, but you tend to live or die by their results that way. Still, rather poor week with everyone except Vidic conceding a goal and no...

I actually like Fulham, but I wanted them to go down last year for sacking Chris Coleman when he'd done as good a job as Tigana with a fraction of the money (Steve Marlet, anyone?). Sanchez was immediately out of his depth, but Hodgson did a great job to keep them up. After his miserable attempt at ...
