Finely saw this season over two nites on DVR. I liked it. For a horror tv show it was pretty good. I'm not a fan of found footage either, but I ignored that part and just focused on the story told. Had a few good frights; the ep at some abandoned facility was really freaky.

It tried to have something for everyone. I didn't like the family orientation, myself. That family stuff is good for other shows, but not in a SciFi-Action-Dino-TimeTravel show.

Take Shelter

End of world type flick (or is it...?) I didn't hear of this movie until my brother tasked me to see it with him. A very very very low key film throughout, both storyline and acting; low key but very effective, for me. It is a movie about the Husband's journey of impending doom and his Wife's coping...

I think the world is a good place. The world is what you make of it by either ignoring certain things or taking advantage of certain things. The folks of the Land took advantage of stone and wood and their various gifts, but ignored any cultural advancement or technical inventions for eons, but have...

I've had dreams that I swear took hours, but upon waking only 15 min or so had passed. I also had a long dream once of being chased, and chasing, and ended up with me walking up a hill, being directed by a man in a Civil War Union uniform to proceed on up saying, "He's right over there.", ...

Grimm

Pilot show was on two nites in a row. Caught it the other night and I liked it. Modern take on Grimm Bros fairy tales with a Cop finding out he is one of the last in a long line of Grimm's, which are special folks who have a knack to seek, find and kill the "monsters". I really liked the l...

I was never a zombie fan; didn't even look at this series until the marathon last week and then I got hooked. I really like it. 1st ep of season 2 was pretty good, esp the first half with the zombie horde coming down the highway. Besides the SFX, I like the character interactions for the most part; ...

I was hoping some Lost TV show vibes would have been envoked into the show: interesting characters, cool music, interesting storylines, but I was also disappointed. Storylines 101, so far. There is something of a mystery concerning the rock drawings, so there is some hope, I suppose. I'll keep watch...

Dang, looks like they may have messed up again; yet another metro superman. They need a chiseled square chined superman like Reeve and the comix/toons; not another skinny doll-like in-touch-with-my-feminine-side Brandon Routh type. I don't know this Cavill chap, but looks like he needs some serious ...

Ended with what sounded like Carpenter's music; good sign. Might be ok, and not to be sexist, but both the orig and Carpenter's had no women, so there was no fear of a love story; just a bare-bones action-man flick. If this is a main movie house release it will suck; if it was made independent and U...

Never saw the brit show, but have been watching the us version except for this last season. I loved it, but it took quite a while to get used to Carrell due to some of the increadable things he would say and embarrasing comments and situations. He truely is a moron, but then at the end of many shows...

Ya, I missed the whole 1st season, but am lovin it since and to hear about this Friday time slot deal is a big disappointment. I hope that if Fox does cancel that someone else will pick it up. Be a great SciFi pickup, but doubt they can afford the production.

Never heard nor seen any of em. Surprised "Mark of the Devil" wasn't mentioned. A very bloody german film brought to the US in the 70's that is full of scenes of bloody torture of people suspected of being witches in 1700's germany. They passed out barf bags to the movie goers as part of a...
