OK so it is rejecting extended ascii characters. The fix I had results in the error not showing but also the post not posting

The hosts must have modified the security settings to prevent SQL injections via extended ascii characters which is a pain in the ass

Hey Ussumiel - I am back far too infrequently I know That's good to know - but maybe they just had a wobbly on the servers or something. But the setting I changed may help a bit (well i think it lowers the server load which is what the 503 error is usually all about)

Sorry guys - I've been rather terrible at keeping up with everything :( I have removed those google and rss things at the top - and have changed a server setting that might help with the 503 issues If it doesn't then probably the only thing that will sort it out is moving to a different server...and...
