Oh wow this is a great topic. I had fun reading everyone's input and seeing such divergent lists (completely to be expected). I know I am posting very late on a very old thread. My only excuse is that I so rarely find that some free time coincides with my thoughts of this forum. 1. LFB 2. TPTP 3. TW...

.. and so we continue to wait..
One year this week since LFB, 2 months since the update from SRD. I was hoping to at least see the pre-order notice by now. Getting nervous that it won't be out before the last book.

Good news at last. Copied from the latest News update. " I have now delivered to Ballantine a Word .doc of WHITE GOLD WIELDER suitable for conversion into an ebook. How long their part of the process will take, I have no idea. But I have--at last!--done my part to make all of "The Chronicl...

I haven't seen any news either. I have been chekcing Amazon weekly for the pre-order notice but no luck yet. Strangely, the first 5 books came out in only a short 3 month period but the 6th has not shown up in the same amount of time. I realize the first 3 or 4 were done all at one time, more or les...

Can someone please tell me why the ebook format is so expensive on Amazon's site? I can buy soft cover versions of the books for about $9, but their ebook equivalents are around $16, which makes no sense to me. BTW, long time fan of SRD's series, I already have all his books in paper format but wou...

The first 5 books are all out now. Just waiting on WGW. Amazon.com usually has them on pre-order a month before they are actually available, at least that is how it was with TWL and TOT. So far I have not seen WGW on Amazon for pre-order but it has been about two months since TOT came out so, maybe ...

TC ebook review

In case anyone is interested I thought I would post a short review on my perceived quality of the newly released TC1 ebooks. Let me be upfront in admitting I have not completed all 3 novels of TC1 yet. I am about 2/3 of the way through TIW. Overall I am happy with the quality. There are no glaring i...

I admit I did not look this up when reading the books. I guessed and it turns out I was only "half" right. Not sure if that means my vocabulary is half empty or half full. :-)

Thanks to everyone on the feedback RE: Gaiman. I must say I was not nearly as impressed with the second half of Neverwhere (finished it last night) as I was with the first half. After all the build up I felt he took several cheap paths to wrapping the story up. Oh well, still a good read. I was enco...

Hahaha, I love that book. :D

This is my first time to read Gaiman. I see he has several others out there. I am really enjoying Neverwhere. Is his other material on the same par?
I enjoy Scalzi. Old Man's War and The Ghost Brigades are both good. u.
I enjoyed those also, especially Old Mans War. I believe there are two more in the series the third is The Last Colony which I own but have not read. I think there is a 4th called Zoe's Tale? Not sure about that....

I hope you get some feedback on the schedule. I've tried checking the publisher for a release date but no luck. I lost all my books to a fire a few years back and invested in an ebook reader. So this is something I have been very excited about. I've been chomping at the bit for April to get here! -A...
