It's over and done with and I would happily be bouncing from board to board except for the fact that my computer threw a hissy fit on me so I've decided to take the plunge and buy an Imac. Once it's up and running, which should be very soon, I'll be back full time.

away for a while

Due to the 250,000 catholics all wanting to get on the train at the same time for the next 10 days (yep, it's World Youth Day here in sunny Sydney) I'll be missing oon the boards for a bit longer than I thought. What d'you mean you didn't even know I'd gone?

I think the Masters still 'care' for Revelstone, in that they respect the place and its history, but they don't want to give Earthpower any kind of focus. Though this might just be me wearing rose-tinted glasses to look at the wonderful Haruchai.

I wonder what would happen if SRD inttroduced (gulp) evil Giants? You mean other than Longwrath and the three Giant-Ravers? Well the Giant-Ravers, to me, were not evil Giants per se - they were taken over by external evil, and I think the jury is still out on Longwrath. I'm talking about an evil be...

only thing that irked me about the Unhomed was the way they just gave up hope & let themselves be killed... But isn't that the horrible nature of despair? These wonderful wonderful beings are so changed by what has happened that they completely lose their sense of self; they became the antithes...

I always like to annoy my Oz relations when they boast of their convict ancestry by telling them that it was only the really stupid ones who got caught that ended up here... It's actually very interesting the way views have changed towards the convicts. Probably right up to the middle of the 20th Ce...

And I do not like The Insequent- mighty and wise as they are, they should have appeared in previous books, when the existence of the Earth was at stake. They also were endangered... why didn't they oppose ? As you can see from reading FR, they did. Not only did Theomach help Berek to attain his Lor...

You can be happily riding your bicycle and get squished flat as a pancake by some horrible great monstertruck... Even when the magic was there for all to share, the ordinary people of the Land had enough on their plate. Ravers, loony Cavewights, Lords breaking the Law of Death every five minutes, su...
