The Great God's War is a much more accessible work than the Chronicles of Thomas Covenant. Much more like Mordant's Need in that regard.

I guess the problem with upgrading security is that it might require some actual money. At least most of the certificates from trustworthy CA's usually cost money.

I see now that I may have been a bit optimistic about the release schedules of anything by Rothfuss when I started this thread, but the books are still very good.

A few years ago I sat down and read the entire Gap Cycle for the first time since I had read the books individually when they were first released in mmpb. The entire cycle was a lot better than I remembered.

I do not remember how many times I have re-read the chronicles. I would guess that it is something like four or five times. This is not including the last chronicles, which I have only read once. I am considering re-reading some, or all, of them again now. It is about time.

The great thing about the chronicles is that each time I read them I discover new and greater things about them. Details I missed, or just characters that I now suddenly understand a lot better.
