re Foul being near Earthpower, I did not mean he lived near it during the chrons. When defeated his lessened essence resided near the heart of Earth power while it helped him 'heal'. Bad news for the land. NB this is not near the Earth blood under Skyweir which was one concentrated manifestati...

I'm not sure about that. * It was theorised by the Lords that the staff would not work well/correctly for Foul, not that he couldn't use it. * Foul actually resided near the heart of earthpower because it was the one thing that would heal even him * Even earthpower can be corrupted * Foul cannot be ...

Destroying the Illearth Stone or any of the other banes hidden in the earth may be dangerous but what about commanding the earthpower to seal them away beyond the reach of any being. Of course, you have to hope that someone doesn't use the power of command to undo your good work. I'm just re-...

Favorite Endings (Spoiler Alert)
Beware, you may learn something you don't want to know... One of my favorite endings was to Arthur C Clarke's Rendevous with Rama when the main character suddenly realises Raman's do everything in three's. i.e. there will be two more ships visiting the solar system. Of course it was ruined...

and mistweave... i didn't say that u couldn't use the land without covenant ;) just that it would be hard to put covenant into it if you wanted to. :) :P Are the problems with lack of intonation when using text. (hmm. is the blood guard speech so bland because they didn't have emoticons!) :l...

I love the movies but i do have some problems with them. The major one is what he did to Faramir and the whole Osgiliath thing :x That made me so angry. I enjoyed TTT much better the second time when i was prepared for it. Jackson's Balrog was brilliant - he was very clever over dealing with the who...

Re: 3rd Chrons ... Exponential Exotic?
Perhaps, if time itself is corrupted, everything happening around a character may be a mix of some things occurring in the present, some in the past, some in the future. TC (or whoever it will be now) might have to have interaction with someone who is, at that moment, not at that moment :D This tho...

Mouseglove, I've been playing 19 years and still play almost every week. Forestal, you can play in the land without playing Covenant. Or any of the major characters for that matter. Indeed, it would be interesting after the new chrons come out to play in different time periods throughout the Lands H...

Arcana Unearthed - The Diamond Throne
Any DnD players out there? (sorry - that's Dungeons and Dragons to the uninitiated.) Monte Cook's new campaign world, the Diamond Throne, is interesting as he has included Giants as a player race First came the giants. I wanted to create a race that was size Large, for the interesting game applicati...

My Books are in storage but I think its in Witches Abroad when a vampire accidently gets knocked out the air and while lying on the ground recovering himself is 'found' by Granny Ogg's cat. Everyone has heard of a vampire rising from the grave but no vampire has ever risen from Greebo! And I loved i...
