It has been many moons since I was here in the land last. I have been on a quest of sorts. One to search for myself. And instead of finding myself, I have found more questions than answers. Ah well, it is meaning of life to not know the answers til the end anyway. I have noticed that there are many ...

There are many good points that have been brought up within this melding of the minds. My personal view is that TC could not have destroyed Foul. That if he had attempted it, the AoT would have been destroyed, the land would have been destroyed with it, and Foul would have been able to go to war aga...

One thing that I would definitely want to see is the return of all of the original races and more history of the land. The past can illuminate and make the way clear for the future.

Danlo, you had a good basic idea, but I would modify it somewhat. I would use it to make it impossible to remove the fuel from the reactors until it was completely inert, and I would convert all weapons grade nuclear materials into commercial grade materials for use in energy production. Unfortunate...

8O There are so many to choose from that it would take a veritable archive to list them all! There have been quite a few good ones mentioned, including one of my fave's, Lord Mhorams' Victory. But only if they had the right person playing him, someone who could have the hotly prophetic eyes and the ...

There is another old timer who has just returned. I have been away for a number of months working and just got back a couple of days ago. I am in the process of getting myself back into the swing of things and now I find out that there is a whole new rogue's gallery of people that I am going to have...

LM, I think that I asked that question in another thread. I had asked what would happen if you destroyed another dimension that was connected to ours. I don't believe that it was answered to my entire satisfaction. Somehow I think that if one dimension was destroyed, that they would all fall in upon...

One thing is for certain. I would not go to the homeland of the Haruchai, that is unless I could get several layers of clothes. I hate the cold! But going to the land of the Braithair does intrigue me. I would like to see the trackless deserts and enjoy the solitude of the land that spawned Nom. And...

They relied upon TC the same way that all leaders have in the past when it comes to any new and improved weapon. And that is how I perceive that they viewed TC. But rather as a weapon that they could control, he was a "loose cannon". Don't forget the old song that says that he would save o...

I am not going to say that the creator did have a hand in all of the choices made. He supposedly has made "mistakes" by letting LF introduce the banes into the land. So just by that, he has proven himself to not be omniscient or omnipresent. So it is entirely possible when Atiaran was atte...

Davin, there was a distinct reason that the lords stopped seeking the old lore, and it did not necessarily have anything, :? , or it might have had everything to do with their fear of the nature of the contradiction of it. They said that the white gold was a contradiction, but the very nature of the...

Danlo, your quote of Juntel reminded me of something that I read in the last book of the 1st chrons, (sorry, mind very fuzzy from lack of sleep). I will have to paraphrase it as I am about ready to sign off for the night. It went something like this: The lore was definitely too powerful to be contai...

Personally, I would have voted Elena off. I would not have voted Foamy off for the following reasons. 1) He did get TC to Lords' Keep. 2) He reminded TC about what a healing balm the simple act of laughing is. 3) The simple fact that he was as stalwart a friend to TC as Mhoram was. And nobody else e...

The actual number of years is never truly established, but 375 might not be too far off the mark. I was thinking that perthaps SRD used 365  as the base multiplier. That would be a very convenient number as that is the numbers in our year.

I just remembered a line in the book that might also have some bearing on this matter. It was stated that the test of truth would only work if the one being tested did not surpass the tester. And it was proven at the end of the chrons that TC definitely surpassed all within the land as he was the on...

Amy, I don't know about that one at all. You will have to expound upon this theory to all of us. And Sky, I definitely agree that each realm has its' own AoT for the simple reason that this explains the time differences between the two realms. Our realm has time moving forward so much slower than in...

Well Sky, I may not be an officer of the law, but just to have to drive a hundred miles each way every day is a good part of what it is that is taking it out of me. There was a thread a while ago that stated that during a reading from SD of part of the 3rd chrons, that LA met roger and felt really uneasy about him. I am not certain if I am going to say this right, but here goes anyway. I do not think that just anybody could become attuned to the land. Sure, we have three distinct cases that people came over and did, but is that merely a coincidence? Or is it possible that the potency of the land could allow an...

Skyweir, when I assess the amount of insight that you possess, I am awestruck. You have seen many things that I felt, but could somehow not quite put into the proper words. Your eloquence astounds me and I am humbled.
